WHAT IS AVAILABLE LOCALLY

Social support and connectedness provide opportunities for emotional understanding, problem solving and acceptance, all of which help us to cope. Getting involved in local activities, groups and clubs can be a great way to contribute to your local community, meet new people and therefore, improve our ‘social wellness’.

In fact, those who socialise with others tend to live longer than those who prefer to isolate themselves. Positive social habits can help you build support systems and stay healthier mentally and physically.

When You contact One You Walsall, our friendly, knowledgeable and experienced healthy lifestyle specialists will ask a number of questions

This allows us to understand what sort of help, support or advice would best help You.

We might invite you to join a programme that we run or we might signpost you other organisations across Walsall.
